About the Department
The Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring that the physical environment of the District is safe, clean, and functional. This includes regular tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other building infrastructure, as well as maintaining the grounds, including landscaping. The maintenance team also ensures that school site’s classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas are kept clean and well-maintained, supporting a healthy and welcoming learning environment. In addition to addressing routine maintenance needs, the department plays a key role in emergency repairs, responding to urgent issues like leaks or equipment malfunctions. They are also involved in preventative maintenance, conducting regular inspections and addressing potential problems before they become major issues. By maintaining the District's facilities, the maintenance department helps create a safe and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors, contributing to the overall success of the educational experience.
