Measure "K" Bond Projects
Kerman Unified School District in 2008 and 2016 passed a facility bond known as Measure “K” to fund school facility needs in the District. A school bond is a critical tool that helps a school district secure funding for large-scale capital improvements, such as building new schools, upgrading aging facilities, improving safety, and enhancing classroom technology. Bonds are typically repaid over time through property taxes, meaning the financial burden is spread across the community, rather than being concentrated in a single fiscal year. Voter approval of a school bond reflects a community's commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of its students, helping to provide the tools and spaces necessary for academic success.
